Bill Sulak
President, Ferrous Processing & Trading
Bill Sulak is the President of Ferrous Processing & Trading. Mr. Sulak is responsible for overseeing and directing all operations, commercial activity, business development and growth strategy for FPT. Mr. Sulak has over 18 years of experience in commercial, operational, and leadership within the metal recycling industry. He started his career with FPT in 2007 as an Account Executive in Michigan prior to becoming a Senior Sales Manager for FPT’s Ohio locations in 2012. In 2014, he was promoted to Regional Director of the Southern region and was appointed to the Executive Leadership Team in 2015. Prior to his position as President, he was the Executive Vice President of the Southern and Mexico regions. In addition, Mr. Sulak sits on several boards and committees, including the Recycled Materials Association (ReMA), Gemini Recycling, New Copper Country, and has recently served as the President of the Southeast region of ReMA.
As a leader, Mr. Sulak strongly believes in servant leadership and prioritizes the growth and well-being of the team. He attributes his team’s passion and grit to FPT’s innovation and success in the industry. Additionally, Mr. Sulak holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan–Dearborn.

Drew Luntz
President, Ferrous Processing & Trading Ohio
Andrew (Drew) Luntz is the Regional President of Ferrous Processing & Trading Ohio. Mr. Luntz is responsible for efficiently directing FPT’s Northeast Ohio facilities. He started in the industry in 1977 as an administrative assistant at Luntz Corporation and moved throughout the company in various roles, including Plant Manager, Vice President of Operations, Chief Operating Officer and President, learning all phases of the business and developing essential skills that serve FPT today. As a fourth- generation member of the Luntz scrap metal family, Mr. Luntz brings decades of generational knowledge and expertise in metal recycling and shredding to FPT.
As a leader, Mr. Luntz looks forward to how the advancement of technology will progressively change the way metal is recycled and takes pride in recycling and the value it provides to the industry. Previously, Mr. Luntz was the President of Phillips Metals. Additionally, he holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Hiram College.

Mario Macari
Executive Vice President of Operations
Mario Macari is the Executive Vice President of Operations of Ferrous Processing & Trading. Mr. Macari is responsible for all aspects of operations, including management, planning, and process improvement. His extensive background in metal recycling, logistics management, and demolition spans over 35 years and has been vital in successfully transforming multiple FPT operations. Since joining the company, Mr. Macari has directly managed operations at all facilities in Michigan as well as the company’s Cleveland, Miami, and Ontario locations. Mr. Macari has learned what it takes to successfully manage operations from the ground up, having begun his metal recycling career as a scale operator and dispatcher in 1990 at Schlafer Iron & Steel before becoming their Operations Manager.
As a leader, Mr. Macari thrives on knowing that every day provides another opportunity to innovate and stay ahead of the competition. Mr. Macari has a dual degree in hotel restaurant management and culinary arts from Henry Ford Community College.

Tony Benacquisto
Senior Executive Advisor to the President
Anthony (Tony) Benacquisto is the Senior Executive Advisor to the President of Ferrous Processing & Trading. Mr. Benacquisto is responsible for advising on all operational, capital improvement programs, and strategic initiatives as directed by the President. With extensive experience in every aspect of the industry, Mr. Benacquisto brings decades of expertise in heavy equipment and operations to FPT. Previously, Mr. Benacquisto served as Executive Vice President of Operations during which time he rebuilt all of FPT’s shredding and baling operations, downstream, and separation systems. He was also instrumental in developing zero-emission shredding systems at FPT. Since 1976, Mr. Benacquisto has been an Operations Manager, then Vice President of Operations at Schlafer Iron & Steel before acquiring the company with his partners. They later purchased Sam Allen & Sons, forming TBS Recycling, one of the largest privately held scrap processors in Michigan. Mr. Benacquisto joined FPT through acquisition in 1997.
As a leader, Mr. Benacquisto believes that the best way to learn the business is from the bottom up with an entrepreneurial spirit in order to gain a true understanding of every facet of the business. Furthermore, he enjoys working collaboratively with his team to develop new systems and innovative ways to operate, while always prioritizing safety. Mr. Benacquisto has a degree in education from Northern Michigan University and has also served in the U.S. Navy from 1968 to 1971.
